EQIP Grant (2024 & 2025)

We are very excited to have been selected for an Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Grant offered through the Natural Resources Conservation Service within the USDA!

This grant, which represents a series of funding opportunities, will allow us to implement sustainable farming practices like High Tunnels (for growing season extension), cover cropping (for soil quality improvement), rainwater collection systems (for sustainable irrigation), and the creation of habitat for our beautiful Southern Indiana flora and fauna!

Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops Grant (2025)

The Marketing Assistance for Specialty Crops (MASC) program provides financial assistance to specialty crop producers to help them expand domestic markets or develop new markets for their crops. 

MASC helps specialty crop producers offset higher marketing costs related to:

Tenderness and perishability of specialty crops like fruits, vegetables, floriculture, nursery crops and herbs; Specialized handling and transport equipment with temperature and humidity control; Packaging to prevent damage; Moving perishables to market quickly; and Higher Labor Costs.

HYFC & PIFF Farmer Mentor Program (2024)

We are very excited to be part of the 2024 Farmer Mentor Program (as a mentee)! The Hoosier Young Farmers Coalition and Partners IN Food and Farming 2024 Farmer Mentor Program pairs new and experienced speciality crop (organic veggie) farmers to share knowledge, experience, and advice while at the same time building stronger connections among small-scale farms throughout Indiana.
